Zendaya and Tom Holland know how to serve—even while running errands.
The couple, both 28, stepped out together to visit a farmer’s market in Calabasas, Calif. on Aug. 31 and wore coordinating outfits for their lowkey outing. The Euphoria star sported a white, sleeveless tank with loose, black, calf-length pants and a green jacket with black Mary Jane slip-on shoes. Her Spider-Man costar and boyfriend wore a nearly identical white tank top with brown pants and white sneakers, proving they’re always in sync.
The shopping trip—which included Zendaya’s mother, Claire Stoermer—came as the couple were preparing to celebrate Zendaya’s 28th birthday on Sept. 1, which she rang in by posting to Instagram a throwback picture of herself as a toddler wearing a blue and purple floral dress. In the caption of the post, the Challengers actress wrote, “Just popping on here to say how appreciative I am for all of the kind birthday wishes, it truly means the world to me…Here’s to 28!”
While Tom and Zendaya have often kept their romance out of the spotlight since being made public in 2021, the Spider-Man costars have often proven they’re each other’s No. 1 fan. Earlier this year, Tom gushed over her hit tennis film on social media. And later this spring, when he took the stage in West End’s Romeo & Juliet, Zendaya was often on-hand to show him support.
But while the duo, who first met on the set of 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, have shied away from talking about their relationship, some of their friends and costars have shared insight into what makes them a perfect match.
Take, for instance, Marisa Tomei, who recently shared that her favorite behind-the-scenes moments from filming the Marvel series centered on Tom and Zendaya.
“I think some of the favorite things were really just watching Tom and Zendaya grow up and watching them fall in love,” the Oscar winner, who played Aunt May in the films, said at a fan convention event in August. “And seeing their phenomenal talent and being blown away from the get-go.”
She also went on to praise their ability to stay humble despite their incredible talent.
“Some people are just meant for it, and they are meant for it,” Marisa continued. “They carry enormous, enormous star power and they manage to be real people at the same time. They can do everything. They sing, they dance, they act, they do stunts, they design fashion. I mean, what are they not doing? They are incredible, incredible people.”
