Jessica Alba says her daughter is fantastic, and for more than four reasons.
The Fantastic Four actress reflected on her motherhood journey in a sweet tribute to her and husband Cash Warren's eldest daughter, Honor, on her 15th birthday.
"15 years ago, baby girl Honor Marie Warren made me a mama," the 42-year-old started the June 7 post, alongside a montage of photos and videos of her daughter over the years. "I had absolutely no idea how much my world was going to change… to say my heart burst open the moment I saw you, doesn't even cover it."
Jessica continued, "I am so proud of who you have become my Honorcita, you are everything and more my baby girl. Kind, driven, caring, intelligent, bold, silly, independent, emotional, creative, wise, rebellious… all the things."
The L.A.'s Finest actress—who also shares daughter Haven, 11, and son Hayes, 5, with Cash—further acknowledged the important role Honor plays in their family.
"Thank you for being such an incredibly loving daughter and for being the best big sis to Haven and Hayes," she expressed, "for standing in your truth, for having integrity, for being emotionally available… you have taught me so much my Angel, you are the perfect combo of being soft and strong."
The Honest Company founder ended her post with well wishes for her daughter's future. "Continue to be your truest self and always present and loving -manifesting all that you desire sweet girl," she wrote. "One of my greatest gifts is watching how you unfold and seeing the life you are creating for yourself."
Jessica, who often shares glimpses into her family life on Instagram, celebrated a different kind of milestone back in the fall—the first day of school. Alongside a snap of Honor and Haven, she noted the new academic chapter her daughters were each embarking on.
The Sin City actress captioned the September 2022 post, "My kind, intelligent, silly, cute (not so baby) girls started middle school and high school this week."
And like any mom, Jessica wants to spend as much time as possible with her kids—even if that's not always what they want.
"I want them to be my best friend," she told E! News in November 2022, "and they want me to not be their best friend."
She joked, "I keep trying to convince them that I'm still cool enough to want to hang out with."
